we all make alterations to ourselves to fit in. we all strive to be like the popular kids. we all want that 'love' that they get. the feeling of being wanted and being needed. for some reason we feed off of what others think. what we look like, what we wear, how we do our hair, that is all a result of what others think is cool or what others like. not what we like. not what we want.
how do we know anymore who we truly are? we gossip and talk crap about everyone. but if we grew up being who we truly are, would we be who we are today? would we even care what we look like?
who sets the standards for what is 'cool'? who says that overalls are out of style?
set your own standards. be who you TRULY are. discover who your true friends are. dont talk gossip. dont be rude. just be yourself. i bet you more people will like that you than the fake you.
